Type XHHW-2 Building Wires 600V
1.Application
General purpose Building Wire for use in air, cable tray or approved raceways, industrial environments where superior insulation toughness and chemical resistance are required, and where maximum operating temperature not to exceed 90°C in dry or wet locations. Wire possesses excellent electrical, thermal and physical properties, excellent resistance to moisture, and excellent resistance to crush, compression cuts and heat deformation.
2.Construction
Stranded tinned or bare copper conductor, black XLP (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) insulation, surface printed.
3.Standard
- Conductors conform to ASTM B-3, B-8 (& B-33 for tinned copper conductor).
- National Electric Code (NEC).
- UL 44 Stranded for rubber-insulated wires and cables and UL 854.
- ICEA S-95-658/NEMA WC70.
- UL listed as Type XHHW-2.
- c(UL) Type RW-90.
- OSHA acceptable
